LG 19″ LCD Monitor FULL HD – W1943S SPECS, REVIEW, PRICE: CHEAPEST LCD MONITOR, LCD PALING MURAH

Which to choose? It all boils down to personal preference really. If you use the monitor mainly for work purpose then go for the W1942T because of the extra workspace. If you watch a lot of movies, then go for the W1943S. On the LG official website, the 16:9 marketing pitch is quite misleading especially for someone who is a newbie. The black bars on a 16:10 monitor does not block part of a movie like that. Forgo some workspace and get better image quality on the W1943S. Choose more workspace and get slightly lower image quality on the W1942T.

LG shows off thinnest LCD panel, 0.23 inches thick

Engadget reports that LG has unveiled novel 42” and 47” LCD panels which are much less than an inch in thickness. Supposedly an iPhone was missing to measure the thinness of these LCDs. And as the picture shows, the model supplements it with a coin.

Dell's Display Port Prototype Will Allow for Resolutions 4x Better Than HD

Feast your eyes on Dell's sexy new LCD. It measures about half an inch thick and packs a resolution that's 4x sharper than the current HDTV resolutions. It's part of Dell's new Display Port technology.
The new interconnect will let you daisychain multiple monitors and connect other peripherals via one bi-directional cable. As you can see from the pic, it'll also allow for embedded peripherals around the display (this one has speakers built in on the side). The tech can also be used with notebook displays. It's expected to come out later this year and if this is a sign of what's to come, we can't wait. – Louis Ramirez.

Most of my friends tell me that I have got a cool job and I seldom deny. But this cool job has its own set of cons. At times the very things that make it cool, feature in the con list. One such thing being the exposure to these cool gadgets and peripherals. Take for instance the LCD screens that keep making their way to my desktop every alternate week. It doesn't take too long for one to get hooked on to these beauties. But when they go away to where they came from, I have to return with a heavy heart to the old CRT and then even the output at 85 Hz seems to flicker, even though it doesn't.
Till last week, the only transition I had to make was from the sleek and flicker free LCD screen to my CRT monitor more or less of the same size. Now things seem to have gone worse. Not only do I have a LCD to contend with but also a huge screen size to boot. But wait a second. Why on earth would I want to waste my time getting depressed about the fact that it has to go away someday? Rather, I would enjoy every little moment I get to gaze at this sexy 19-inch LCD from ViewSonic.
