The problem is that Windows 7 XPM is not compatible with a plethora of Intel processors therefore many computers will not support this Windows 7 feature. In order to run Windows 7 XP mode, computers must be based on Intel processors which feature Virtualization Technology, but not many have it, and we have to emphasize laptops.
Intel VT was introduced back in 2005, and the company has shipped more than 100 million of such chips, however, there are still many other processors who do not support Virtualization.
